The Breast Exam Project

This project is a hands on, grass roots breast cancer awareness project that everyone can get involved in.  Since its inception in August of 2005, we have driven over 70,000 miles to meet breast cancer survivors and their families and have performed at benefit concerts across the US and Canada.  Besides the obvious DVD production, our mission is AWARENESS , AWARENESS, AWARENESS and yes, EARLY DETECTION!

 This entire project is a work in progress.  When we can, we update this site.  We can be reached very easily as our number is mentioned on the top of the page.  Whoever is not driving picks up the phone.  We are constantly working on production of the DVD and developing ties for events around the US and Canada that support the project, as well as local breast cancer resource organizations we come in contact with in our travels.

THE SELF BREAST EXAM SONG & MUSIC VIDEO

We have just finished "Changes", the song and music video in both English & Spanish.  We will have it available at concerts beginning in September. See the Events page for a concert near you.  It will soon be accessible as an MP3 download as well.  

        Ways you can be part of this exciting project:

  • Make a difference globally & locally through music.  If you are involved with a breast cancer organization, we invite you to look at our events page and possibly make arrangements with someone in your organization to attend our concerts with your local resource information.  This project is ongoing throughout the year, not only in October
  • Raise money for your organization. Your group can also have these music videos manufactured in bulk with their own logo on it for fundraising purposes or simply to give away in their name as a fantastic and unique awareness tool.
  • Order the music video for your medical center or on behalf of a special fund with your company's logo to give away at your center.
  • If you would like to plan a private fundraising house concert event, you can contact us at the number on the top of the page.  We are in the middle of planning a tour and would love to include your home as part of that tour.
  • Produce a benefit concert for your local breast cancer organization & the Breast Exam Project in your church or favorite venue.  Please call us or email us at info@thebreastexamproject.org
  • If you are involved with television or radio Help!  You can truly help this worthy cause by promoting this song.  Write us and we'll send you a copy of the music video.  Lucie Blue will be happy to appear on your show.  We appreciate any help to promote this song. Share it with other friends in the media. So if you are in promotion, television production, radio or other medias your help would be very appreciated.
  • Planning a breast cancer walk? We're there!  We would like to attend as many Breast Cancer Walks as possible with all organizations in the next year.  Lucie Blue will come appear to perform the song at your events and have the CD available.  If you are instrumental in planning or being part of a walk in your area, please contact us to see how we can be part of the day's activities.
